Full Convertible rear window
Discussion
I know this has been done before but maybe not the same way. I noticed that the roll bar is marking the rear window of the hood when it is down in two places. I bought some soft seat belt covers the other day which fit perfectly over the 2 offending tubes, the seat belt covers have velcro so are very adjustable and can be turned so you can't see the join.
I have the same problem, it never occured to me to put a soft material on the seat support structure, so thanks for that idea!
As an aside, what I have been doing as a preventative measure is to put a piece of cloth over each of the 2 corners of the roof section that slides into the back of the boot, since I have noticed that the rubber seal that ordinarily sits above the window had been bending back on itself when putting the roof section into the boot and degrading.
Cheers

Hi Ratboiler, I don't have a photo, but have done a quick paint version below from the Roof storage guide.
I simply get 2 rags and fold each one over and around the corner of the roof highlighted in yellow.
I hold these in place with each hand when placing the roof into the boot
Seems to have curtailed the damage to the roof seal when these come into to contact with the carpet lining in the boot
Does that help?
