I'm thinking of selling my T2s on an 05 plate with mileage of 11.5k. I fancy a TVR Turbo? Most people would like to upgrade to a T2S rather than getting into a classic. I'm confused. Please help to understand if I'm considering the right thing.

Is anyone interested in a mint Tuscan 2S, before I place the car for sale with a dealer. It maybe a good opportunity to buy this car without a premium.

I will probably make the call to the dealer at the weekend. Please mail me if your interested.

Chinski.

Had the very same thought. The very special and beautiful 3000s Turbo which is in HHC is very tempting and a very fair price given the care and attention which John Simpson lavished on it.

Yes, I'd love it, but just couldn't bring myself to part-ex my Tuscan for it. Very close but just feel the 3000s Turbo wouldn't be quite as usable especially given the number of miles I do.

Since this is posted in the Tuscan section, it looks like your saying that most people with Mk 1 Tuscans would like to upgrade to a Mk2s

what actually is the upgrade

Maybe I've posted the question in the wrong section?

The upgrade is from a classic to a modern car, not from a mk1 to mk2. I'm considering going from a modern TVR to a classic TVR. After being looking at a turbo this morning I'm not sure I can make that move.

Haven't driven a classic so can't talk really. Have to get a feel for them both then see which one feels more "you" imo.

Oh come on.. If you know your TVRs you'll know that they coninually improved the cars. There's far to many individual improvements between the mk1 and the later Tuscans both dynamically and in overall build quality to list in full. A good mk2 will be worth more than the equivalent mk1 which supports the op's view that they are a step up. The design changes are subjective both inside and out, I personally think that the last curvy dash Tuscans are the cream of the crop!
