Hi all

I've noticed that the drivers side roof lever in the boot has a problem. The passengers side is smooth and the pin retracts right into the tube in the bar, the drivers side feels stuck and I have to give it a tug to get it started and then the pin still down't fully retract - it feesl as though one day the tug will break something. I've adjusted the mechanism in the boot, so I suspect that it is the mechanism (whatever that is) inside the hoop.

So my question is how do I get access to inside the hoop?

Thanks in advance

Does it move freely when the roof is not in position?
Have you tried adjusting the receiver on the roof panel. Mine felt exactly as you describe but turned out to be too tight on the receiver.

From what I recall, they are accessed from the inside. You have to take off the interior trim.........I also recall it's a right PITAsmash

I had mine adjusted a few years back but opted to let someone else take the glorybiggrin

Thanks guys. It seems that the pin is snagging on the receiver tube in the roof, but I can't see how to adjust this - it looks like it is bolted to the panal behind the "stuck on" edge trim panels, but I can't see any adjustment.

To make matters worse, I changed the seals around the roof/doors this weekend as the previous was less than waterproof, and now the rood is a very tight fit. Now I definitely need to know how to adjust the receiver tubes.....

Anyone else any experience?

Its just two dome head screws each side with allen key heads (3mm I seem to recall) On mine they are quite obvious with the roof upside down on the floor. The receiver has two slotted holes which gives you loads of adjustment from loose rattly roof to so tight you can't release it.
