Speedo gauge sticking
Discussion
I know the speedos in the tuscan aren't renowned for being the most accurate and acting erratic sometimes, but driving my new car home earlier the needle got stuck at 10mph at one point until I stopped at services, then again at 40mph when I st off again. It works for a while to start with then seemed to get stuck...the digi readout still worked fine as did the odometer. So doubt its the speedo pick up sensor, looks more like the clocks? Anyone else had this or can shed some light on it?
I had a similar thing on mine. It turned out to be the meshing of the needle with its potentiometer. In the end it was a simple fix. Take out the stack of pcb's from the dash split them down to get access, then re-align the two small plastic cogs with each other. Align them so that they are "just" meshed, not fully interlocked because that makes them stick. Hope that makes sense.

This post related to a question I'd asked. I followed the instructions which were very accurate; I also re-glued the perspex within the pod at the same time. The strip out is pretty straight forward just take your time and be methodical about it.Good luck with the new car, I'll be watching your posts as I've still a few tasks need completing.
