Well, a first for me in 2 years of ownership, during my 500 mile round trip from Kent to Chester/Wales and back at the weekend, and with the roof off during the sunny spells, felt that sensation of seagull droppings landing on my head, whist doing 60mph (me, not the seagull).

Naturally the other half was very sympathetic, not...

Another first this weekend was when overtaking a Porsche at speed and him dropping the window to listen to the noise of my motor

I don't get to experience any of that with my Vauxhall Zafira, TVRs, wonderful cars!

Lol, oh dear. Always paranoid of birds, especially seagulls. So far been lucky, although on several occasions I've had seagulls position themselves directly overhead doing their best to speed match as I drive along a road. Their best don't last long however biggrin

Surprised the trajectory would hit while moving that fast - or maybe you are just tall =)

Even when its raining sometimes stay dry if going fast enough in convertibles (perhaps not recommended in a TVR)
=p

It was a carpet bomb strategy I think, boonet, wing mirror, roll bar & boot got it too. I have got wet in the rain before, had to pull over on the M1 a couple of weeks ago for that very reason
