My friend bought an ecu cable from raceproved which I've been lucky enough to get use out of on my 2002 car. It has a 3 wire plug on it. He can't find his connector inside his car other than one which has a 2 wire plug (which I've also found in my footwell??). Did the early Tuscans (his is a 2000 RR) have a different ecu cable?

Open the ECU, you will find a RS232 aka serial port, as in the Cerberas. You will need another cable, also available at the usual suppliers.

Björn.

Oh damn! Looks like I'll buy his lead off him then! Does anyone other the Power make these leads? As £48 is a bit pricey eh!!

I got mine from the classifieds for £15. They come up occasionally.

My car is 2000 and has both 2 and 3 plugs.

+1 My car is 07/00 and has the 3 pin diagnostics lead. I made my own using the plug from an old window encoder.
