Does anyone have a photo of how the reverse switch is mounted/positioned on a Tuscan please?

Cheers,

Have you got Mr. Varley's book? Photos in there show orientation of switch and relation to 'plate/bracket' on gear stick.

Basically, the plate on the gearstick 'kisses' the plunger on the reverse light switch...when reverse selected. The switch is held onto a mounting on the 'box with 2 (22mm ??) nuts either side of mounting to allow adjustment

When 5th gear is selected, the plate has a 'cut-out' to prevent operation of the plunger.

Sorry, can't help with 'photos. Might be worth googling Graham Varley, and following links to see if there is something available? Edited to add link to GV's webpage...picture shows UNDERSIDE of car.

I've just found some photos. It rings a bell now. That's what happens when you spend too long doing a rebuild! you forget how it goes back together!

For the PH knowledge pot.....
