Hi

Can someone tell me if there is an easy way to replace the indicator bulb on a Tuscan?

Following the instructions in the manual the indicator seems almost impossible to access.

Can be a bit difficult as I found out due to mastic on the thread of the indicator housing causing it to be impossible to remove by hand.In the end I took the car to my dealer and eventually he used an oil filter removal tool to undo the indicator housing. Removal the service bonnet helps as it gives more room to work from the front of the car.

On mine, I could remove the triangular plate on the inner wing - 3 screws and replace bulbs with no problem.

I must be doing something wrong then. When i take off the panel to gain access, because the indicator is the top light i can barely get my hand in. I will try using one of those oil filter remover tools that I have from my old ford days........sometimes you feel glad you haven't chucked stuff away.

just to bring this previous topic back to life - what type of bulb do I need to buy for a clear-lens indicator on my Tusc? I need to have a go at replacing mine....

Best to remove one and take it to the shop as some of the indicator bulbs had a different pin offset.

Thanks Nick, I was thinking I might have to do that....will need to dislocate my wrist first though to get in there and pull it out (so I am being told).....

In case anyone needs to now, they are R382 12V single-filament bulbs. Amber, in my case as I have clear lenses.
