Alloy wheel colour change
Discussion
After reading the varied responses to the spoiler issue I thought I would share the following with you:
My Chameleon Orange Tuscan II is in for a service at the end of the month. Decided to change the wheel colour from Anthracite to 'Smoked Chrome'. Saw one last year at my dealer and the technician held it up to the car. Only a subtle change compared to some but didnt ' arf look good. Some probably wont even notice !!!

Dream Machines are gonna do them for me. You're right Anthracite do look nice Andy but I think its case of finding something to do to the car !!! Last year I thought it wasn't worth the time and expense for such a small difference in colour. Its actually going in to have a scuff repaired that was kindly given to me by an a man in a car park. I returned to find four people admiring the car and waiting to tell me they had seen a white rover (now parked next to me) push his way past me. It left white paint on my tyre and bodywork and picked up some orange on his front bumper. I calmly questioned him and his wife on their return to which he replied "I dont think so" He refused to give his details and whilst standing to show the marks on his car he proceeded to run me over!! I even parked away from all the other cars to avoid divs like him. Police dealt with it and got his details for me. I shall be sending his insurers the bill, which they will probably refuse to pay as I have not gone down the proper channels !! So I shall now continue to park in disabled and parent bays without hesitation !!!! (sorry)

Don't be sorry dude...I always park in such spaces, if there are plenty vacant, for the very same reason, I would rather pay a 30 quid fine than ₤₤₤'s for a repair. I have a mate called stanley in my car who is very sharp for revenge over such matters whence dealing with such to55ers
...having to replace tyres, it's the only way some *uckers get the message to take more care. I have to say I am surprised the porkers actually bothered to address the matter for you, at least thats a +ve result. Its very tempting but I kept calm because I could just imagine some do-gooder reporting me for harrassing an older couple !!! I don't think the cops take kindly to people leaving the scene of an accident these days. Even my Wife was impressed how calm I was. Might even get them to pay for the wheels !!!!
Hi Stu,
I have to admit, I tend to use the "baby & parent" parking spaces and have even been guilty of using two spaces to leave a sufficient gap either side so some numpty doesn't let their door swing open into the side of mine (as they do...). Needs must I reckon!
Good luck with the wheels, Lepsons quoted me a good price for re-furbing mine (couple of scuffs I am thinking of getting sorted) and I believe Chris in James Motor Sports also does wheel refurbs too.
I'm thinking of taking a run up to Brands later on to see if I can get a dB test done. Let me know if you are around and fancy a spin....
