Hi

Got a couple of questions about my early 2000 W reg Tuscan.

1.... Having trouble with getting my hand brake light switch to work properly. I've taken the centre section off to expose the switch and tried to get it positioned so that it switches off the warning lamp when the hand brake is down. I can't seem to work out just how this is supposed to be positioned as it pushes the switch mounting every time you puit the hand brake down. Anyone know how I resolve this issue?

2.... I've disconnected the hand brake switch (making double sure that I release the hand barke before moving off!) as (I hope) a temp measeure. Does anyone know if this affects the low brake fluid warning element of the wiring system. Don't want to run low on fluid without knowing!

Cheers

With centre console off and ignition on, just tweak the bracket that holds the switch.
The switch is in the off position when pushed in, so sounds like it needs to come a little closer to the hand brake itself. Just tweak it and test it til you're happy.

Dont think that switch will affect anything else.

I've tried all those things and still don't seem to be able to get it right.

it's disconnected at the moment, will have to have another go at it.
