Got my ride drive day booked soon and after the last few hundred miles of lead footed driving and the air field time I guessed it might be prudent for a quick oil change.

Question is where to get it done, is it possible/advisable to get it done anywhere other than a TVR specialist? Or should I just stop being a lazy bugger get my spanners out and do it myself? (im not brilliant under the bonnet of a car but not hopeless either..)

Cheers

Dave,

Check out this previous thread - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... - might help,

Cool thanks, sounds like a mornings work with a helpfull friend,

but with my kwik fit mechanic skills I can see myself stripping the "delicate" threads, and by the same logic I dont think I would want to trust it with anybody else other than a specialist.

I'll prob get racing green to do it as they are within 30 mins drive for me, (15 at tvr speed!)

Thanks for the help, sorry I didnt spot that thread earlier!
