Not that it exactly sets a new world record or anything but i thought some of you may like to know that my tuscan 1 completed its 3rd faultless LM trip. Used zero oil/water, never so much as a missfire during the 1k round trip. So tuscans are reliable..its official wink
AND we had a porche 996 turbo in our convoy with a +40bhp tuning kit. I followed him out of a service station and from 20mph - 120mph he gained about a cars length! Pretty good for a 3.6 tuscan i thought. (he said after that he hit the rev limiter in 2nd and 3rd so he was def going for it).
Anyone thinking of gaz shocks btw i can recomend them, recently fitted they have made the car a lot more stable and it doesnt try to kill me when braking heavily at high speed.
Cheers Dave.

Ayup Dave, glad to here you made it back OK, you know of all my glitches, but non of them life threatening and all chalked up on the chalk board of life. Please you were there to boost my moral on the day of departure. The VOODOO magic helped to get him started to get us home trouble free. Just bin on GSPEC rolling road and clocked 388BHP at flywheel, got a bit of a tappit rattle is in for a 12K (ouch service at Harrogate)part of that service is to adj tappits so should be fine. Am goin for a change back to Tusc 1 wings and light pods in August, watch out. Stickers coming off soon.

Done 5 of the last 6 - missed 2006 - the car hasn't skipped a beat and only 1 ticket from Monsieur Plod. Unfortunately I'm selling now after 21,000 fantastic miles so will have to figure out what to do next year!frown
