Tuscan and divorce

Would you believe it.....2 weeks after agreeing to buy my tuscan (looking on/off since last year) the missus announces we are separating. Got a 2yr old stuck in the middle of this.
Payment for the tuscan was the day after the announcement.

Anyone else been in the same kind of predicament. By the look of it, the purchase of the tuscan will not be affected by the money she is after, so i can at least clear out the cobwebs as it were.......

I had exactly the same experience with a Triumph Spitfire. It seems to be not fault of the brand TVR.

Mine was buying mine for my 40th birthday present...off she went and I had to buy it myself!!

My tuscan 2 was on order for 18 months, during that time i got divorced, guess when the car turned up to be collected, 2 days before my court hearing... the purchase of the car was used against me as an example of my frivolousness!!!

My ex hates my TVR she blames that for the breakup best thing ever never had so much fun, myself and my 11 year old daughter always off weekends in the beast keep your chin up and go through with buying the car it will keep you smiling

Had to sell my Tuscan to finance the divorce, b*tch!

Oh well, I can always buy another one. Divorce date including financial court order set for 23rd July so fingers crossed it will all be over soon!
