I have a buckled front Spyder and have been waiting and waiting for one to become available through the classifieds / ebay.
I am going on a 600 mile blat to France next month and want to remedy the Spyder issue before I go...
So possible options are;
1) Buy a brand new Spyder c£300 (only problem is the other 3 are seven years old and have covered 20,000 miles, so might need to get refurbed as well so they all look the same)
or
2) Replace all 4 Spyders with a different set of alloys (perhaps SP ones) for about £850 and sell the 3 good Spyders.
Any other options?

Tony,
Might be worth your while having a chat with the guy who advertises on ebay, part ex refurbed spiders, he may be able to help you out.
I have heard of such companys offering repairs to alloy wheels but never needed to investigate it myself. Years ago one used to be up my way doing bike wheels (Roy Thersby).
Good luck
G
