Rear of seat

Anyone got any experience of re-fitting the rear panel of either seat, as the rear panel of my drivers seat has 'sprung' backwards giving a clear view of inner upholstery ? Its real force needed to get it back in place - too much I guess for superglue to hold - is this a seat out job for a professional upholsterer ?

These tend to pop-off if you've over used the lumber support pump. Not sure how these go back on, which is not really much use! but may be worth checking that all the air has been let out of the little pump before trying to push it back!

Hi,

The back of mine came away as it had broken off behind the tuscan badge where there are two bolts holding the panel on.
not sure if it's the same with yours but i had to put a couple of big washers on to hold it in place then glue the badge back in place,no problems since then.

On my Tuscan, the seat back is held in place with 4 bolts, two at the top behind the Tuscan badge and two at the bottom. You'll probably need to prise the badge off (mine's held on by sticky tape) and then use a hex key to undo the bolts, or sort out whatever the problem is. If you let the air out of the inflatable bolster prior to refitting, this might help as well. The two bolts at the bottom of the seat back are clearly visible if you tilt the seat forward and maybe slide it forward to the extent of its travel.

Having removed the panel on the back of the drivers seat it appears the carbon fibre surrounding the two upper bolts is broken.
I fancy having a go at repairing myself, but am short on time with a holiday looming at the end of this week - does anyone know of someone to work on this in the East Mids area ?
