I've had all three change lights on, on the way back from Le Mans, with the roof off and the speedo not working. Not too keen on knowing how fast I was going biggrin

I did 182mph speedo indicated at 6700rpm in fifth at Elvington airfield in 2002. Was still pulling but ran out of runway. Got to about 160 quick as a flash then slower from there.

that was a hmmmm.......NO

He may have done, he probably did but I just can't fathom that speed in a £50K car after watching a Brabus Merc SL 6.3 twin turbo costing £170K just about doing 200mph. I'm a new TVR owner and just sounds madness.

Clutch has got progressively worse, I'm going to try and find a Dublin TVR person who knows what he is doing through Irish TVR Owners club and worst case scenario take it to Belfast to Torqueflyte as soon as they can book me in

At the moment the car is a beautiful ornament in my front drive - I may plant some shrubs around it and turn it into a feature

I had mine up to 162 on the high speed bowl at Millbrook, but to be honest, I was really uncomfortable because, even though, technically I was going in a straight line, I could see the curve ahead of me. I knew I could've squeezed a little more from it, but I bottled. Besides, the roof was off and the rear window out, so the car wasn't at its most aerodynamic.

Sorry if I let the side down.

Had 185mph (Road Angel) racing a GT2 on the Cannonball 8000 in France - very frightening!!! Reckon the car (a very strong "S&quotwink had a bit more in it but I certainly didn't (not sure the GT2 had much more either!)

yikes and indeed yikes!!

you're all braver than me! used to go for top speeds "in me yoof" these days im all about acceleration.

130 for me, sorry for letting the side down...

maybe with a nice airfield with miles of run-off I'll have a go at something more adventurous.

Anybody know of an airfield type place in the south?

Did 155 in my Chimaera 400 once on A7 Autobahn.
There was still some left but had to slow down.
Maybe the speedo was a bit optimistic.
Still nursing my Tuscan engine after a rebuild but the
neither the analogue or digital speedos work above 80 ?!?!?!
