Praise for my local Vauxhall (?) Dealer

My Tuscan's battery let me down a week last Friday at work 
and I had to get a push start by my colleagues 
(to the sound of...It's a TVR, of course they break down!!). Anyway, turned out the battery had died - no surprise there then! Although I was surprised that the battery had failed. It has been my daily drive for the last 10 months and has racked up a good 15,000 miles 
in that time, and there was no indication that the battery was on its way out. The batter had been replaced by the dealer (under warranty) in Jan 06 so it wasn't that old either. I phoned the dealer and asked if they warrantied the battery for 1 or 3 years - they only warrantied the battery for 1 year but advised calling my local GM dealer (it was a GM battery). After checking with my local dealer (Platinum Vauxhall in Chippenham - can I name and anti-shame?), they tell me their batteries have a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. So after a bit of haggling (
) with my TVR dealer to get the paperwork for when it was initially changed, I drive to the GM dealer and they swap it there and then! Bloody marvellous! Even got a slightly larger capacity battery into the bargain! Saved a good £80 or so!
Fitted the battery tonight and then (ahem) went for a drive to 'run the battery in', all is well, I'm back on the road,!! Even managed to spot two dark blue Chims (A4 Chippenham to Calne) on my brief drive.
