This is posted elsewhere too, but I thought I'd get as many opinions as possible....
Not long had my T2, but I've noticed that I get a clunk from 'underneath' the car at times. It's usually more prominent when changing gear, but I've noticed what seems to be more subtle versions of it just driving along at a constant speed.
It sounds a little like the 'drivetrain shunt' I used to get in my Mitsi GTO TT when selecting reverse.
So, being a Tuscan newbie, is this normal? I know the 'box in these things is allegedly not the latest in technology (Borg Warner/Tremec T5?), so is that just part of the mechanical nature of it, or am I potentially looking at play in the prop or (hopefully not) the diff/rear axle? It certainly seems to handle well enough, so I don't think it's any part of the suspension.
I did think it might be a wobbling exhaust given that it doesn't always happen under load, and given a smooth enough gear change there's nothing at all. I've not properly checked underneath as yet as I've no jack available to give the room for a good look, and my inspection pit has 18ins of water in it!
Either way, I've contacted TVR Power to arrange for them to check it out. Just wondered if there were any thoughts out there as to what it may be?

Hi Marko,
I just had a 12000 mile service TorqueRVT. While doing it they inspected the exhaust for body contact and made some adjustments.
They also changed a couple of exhaust mounts.
They told me body contact was quite common.
I had noticed the occasional clunk so hopfully yours is the same
