Firstly a BIG thank you to the whole of pistonheads I have been considering a TVR for literally years and although until recently it has not been practical I would not have done it with out the help and info from you guys!
My only regret is i should have bought it years ago - the drive, sound and experience is amazing!

Only picked it up on sat morn and already done 350 glorious miles - oh and hello to the silver-pearl t350 on the M1 driving south on sat early afternoon.
Also can anybody help ? I think i might have made a mistake I lowered the passanger window whilst the door was open. now after resetting the alarm and being out in the car a few times whenever I open the passenger door the window doesnt go up automatically when the door is then closed.
I managed a brief look in the manual last night and it said that this is what happens but it doesnt tell you how to make it revert back to auto closing when the door closes. Do I need to reset it?
Also if i plug in the trickle charger based in the boot is it best to leave the boot open slightly so as not to damage the seal and just unplug the light?
Also if leaving the car stored and under the cover do most people set the alarm? leave a window open? or best way?
Thanks again for the help - hope to see some of you around and please let me know if you are in the Sheffield area as any excuse to go for a run would be good.

Congrats nice car.With reference to the battery conditioner I have used the 'Accumate' type on both my Tuscans although I found if the boot lamp is on the lamps never change from amber to green. I dont think any harm would come to the seal if the boot was shut on the lead, however on mine I connect the Accumate via the jump start socket behind the N/S front wheel,these adaptors are available from Leven. I also leave the alarm armed when the cover is on & the Accumate connected.
Welcome to the fold Wishy, looks like you got yourself a really nice example there, congratulations!
For the passenger window, an alarm setting sequence would normally re-set the ECU's but it sounds as if this isn't happening with yours. When you are in the car and manually putting the window up and down with the rotary switch, try doing it just one "notch" at a time and watching the window. If it moves down/up as you would expect - just by a small bit each time - then it is unlikely that the door encoder pulses are not getting to the ECU. If you see that the window tends to move a much longer distance than expected then it is possible that the encoder pulses are not being read by the ECU.
So you could have a problem with the encoder or the ECU but you mention that the window isn't closing when you close the door. Just to be clear, does the window close fully when you lock the car? Does the window lower itself half way when you press the open door button? If you lower the window past this point manually, and then open the door, when you close the door the window will not move back up. If you lower the window manually but not down past the "open door point" then when you open the door, the window will come down a little bit (to the open door point) and will only go back up to its original position when you close the door again, not all the way up to the top.
All sounds a bit complex eh...

For the boot charger, the closed boot should not damage the seal or the charger wire but if you feel safer leaving it slightly open then, yes, disconnect the interior light.
When I used to leave mine under a cover, I locked it all up as normal and never had any false trip of the alarm etc.
