Oil temperature sensor.

Hi all,
Out last night, engine at full temperature of about 50°C when
My display showed a warning display of oil temp -10°
This continued off an on as I drove home jumping from 48°C to -10 to -15
Oil level is fine. I guess its the connections to the sensor or the sensor itself.
Can someone advise where the sensor is located so that I check the wiring.
