It's playing up

Changed the engine mount yesterday, today the clevis pin in the throttle linkage fell out while driving, so used a cable tie to hold the linkage to the cable until I got home, drove to the local motor spares shop to buy another and it wouldn't start when I went to leave. Jumped it off another battery and it went first time so bought a new battery just to be sure. Now it's started misfiring! It's starting to test my patience, think I'll change the spark plugs and see if that sorts it, it's going in for a service soon anyway so if it doesn't they can fix it
