Hoping its ok to do this in this forum....
I'm looking for my dream tuscan to buy.....dosh in bank....wonder if anyone can steer me towards her or has one to sell....
2003/04 4.0L S MK1
Reflex Charcoal colour (pristine condition would be nice)
As much leather as possible interior
Recent engine rebuild, depending on mileage probably new clutch but ideally low mileage, nitrons, air con, 18" alloys
Usual stuff....good panel fit, no track days, careful owner, always warmed up, gas discharge lights etc. etc. etc.
After a nicely sorted example please....

Besides colour mine fits bill perfectly, 2004 S, clutch 400 miles old, rebuild july 06 5000 miles ago, I hadn't really thought about selling but am hankering for a sagaris and have been toying with the idea of a 2nd tiv! by all means let me know what your budget is over email if you are interested and maybe we can talk!

Was just passing through and I must say IF I was in the market for a Tuscan yous does tick the right boxes along with a Cracking colour.
Personally I'd forget the "no track days" restriction for several reasons. Firstly I wouldn't trust the answers. Secondly I would far rather buy a car that is properly maintained so they can properly use it than one that sits in a garage, gets polished but with less regard to mechanics. Thirdly I and many others believe that they need pushing occasionally - they work far better afterwards.

If its the 2004 S in Barnet that you are hinting at, i've already looked at it. overpriced, but it is low milage...panel fit isn't particularly good..passenger door fit is quite bad, boot sticks up quite a lot on right side. Paintwork is good having had the front resprayed. Standard shocks.
Apparently it is a sale or return deal and the owner isn't too open to negotiation, left my details with them and no calls/contact whatsoever :-(

your panel fit comments above is all standard factory issue!! None of them are the same! Standard shocks on an S or RR will be fine combined with a proper 3D wheel alignment from a TVR specialist, of course when you eventually get leaking dampers it's best to upgrade to Nitron or Ohlins.
The TVR Centre are a genuine bunch, maybe you should give them another chance?

Thanks for your comments....i know you know your stuff.
I know about the right boot strut pushing it up but it did seems a bit excessive. Most of the panels fitted fine, just the passenger door was the odd one out, stuck out at the bottom and the gap around the door varied. Fair bit of usual glue and stuff dotted around.

Don't get me wrong, lovely car to look at.

It was more the lack of follow up and that the car is on sale or return so cannot negotiate easily. If i could source the same car without the dealer markup i would be a lot happier of course.
I'll probably be back there soon once i've had a good rummage around and convinced myself that i cannot find anything matching my spec...more money than i wanted to pay tho, but newer car and low mileage.
