Curvy dashed Tuscan 2 ?

I've just spent a wonderful 5 days blasting around Scotland in Rio Prestige's Tuscan 2 convertible.
I now know that I have to buy a Tuscan.
The problem is that I am a bit picky about what I want. Until now I always thought I wanted a Mk1, because I hated the Mk2 interior.
That was before I saw Rio Prestige's Mk2, with the "fixed" curvy interior, which I love. So I now want a Mk2, but only if it has curvy interior.
When was the new interior introduced and does anyone know how many cars were made with it before the plug was pulled.
P.S. the only thing to break in 900 miles was one of the front indicators falling out

The curvy dash was introduced with the convertible in late 2005, and then it was also adapted in the Targa model from early 2006. From information on this site there were only around 150 convertibles made, as for Targas with the curvy dash I would think there would be significantly less of these.
I feared as much, that is going to complicate matters.
I think I'll stick with a post 2005 convertible then, which also has the benefit of avoiding the various issues with the perspex rear screen on the targa.
I can't believe some of the dealers are still hanging onto new cars and listing them at £40k+, what idiot is going to stump up over £40k for a new Tuscan that has sat around at the dealer for over a year.

Nice one hear for sale, I'd have it myself just a bit out of my budget unfortunatley.

the curvy dash is very good. I couldn't get on with the two spoke wheel on the first tuscan 2 so needed a curvy dash model too. I'm very happy with mine but if you're over six foot the tops of the analogue dials are hard to read. Shame it doesn't have a digital rev counter but the shift lights work a treat.
the later cars also had revised suspension with bilstein dampers and 255's allround (a la Sagaris) and I think it's excellent and a significant, if not obvious improvement. I'm absolutely delighted with mine and feel the targa is better looking (OK hood up as it were) while losing none of the 'convertible' sensation. A brilliant and hugely underrated car. I can't see myself selling mine.
