fuel guage and error k

sorry for not searching im posting from my phone and its taken half and hour to get this far!

the fuel guage is constantly showing a full tank / 60l on my 2000 tuscan.

in addition im getting an error k before starting the engine. any ideas?

Hi David,

Check to see if the connector on the top of the fuel tank sender unit (under the flap at the rear of the boot) has become disconnected.

Mine was knocked off by a can of tyre weld after some spirited driving !

fixed it! was indeed a loose connector. thanks
