Do they actually do anything or are they just for "show"

I have taken mine off to have them repaired, (they are easily scuffed) and Mrs rocket and I both reckon the car looks better without them

supposed to make things a bit more stable at high speed, but we are talking well over 100mph..

I have the front splitter on mine, which I keep scuffing on speed bumps etc.

Im tempted to ditch it.

My Tuscan S 2 feels a lot more stable at speed than previous MK1, although how much of this is down to the 'Aero' parts I don't know, although I did hear that the Tuscan 2 did spend some time in the MIRA wind tunnel.

if putting tape around the edges of headlights can shave time off a lap in a "normal" car having nice smoothed over headlights rather than honking great "air buckets" must make a huge difference between the mk1 and mk2 tuscan.

IIRC the geometry was properly sorted for the mk2 from the start rather than the random setups on the mk1!

I've toyed with the idea of getting some for the front of mine, they do seam to suit the convertible better than the coupe. If your looking to sell yours, let me know...

they would look great on yours Paul with that colour but be warned they attrack kerbs
