hesitation around 6000 rpm

any idea what might be causing this? I went out this weekend (i.e. dry) and was giving it the beanz but noticed that there was marked hesitation at
about 6000 revs. It's garaged all the time so not exposed to damp weather. It's done about 7,000 miles since its last major service (it had an intermediate service in June this year).

Coil pack / spark plugs / HT leads, in order of likeliness.

Spark plugs / HT leads / Coil pack, in order of cheapness.

£140(ish) all in - job done!

I'm told that the throttle bodies are prone to wear which can cause this. I had it on my Sagaris. They can be adjusted but the ultimate fix is to get new better throttle bodies like the ones dreadnought do. From memory they are about £600.

Do you need to seal the leads in with silicone?

You seal the cam insert cover which covers the plugs and leads with silicon, or update it to the carbon fibre insert which seals without silicon, see the Speed 6 forum.
