Gaz Gold shocks from Topcats
Discussion
Warren is a top bloke. TopCats put Nitrons on mine, did he push Gaz shocks onto you or did you ask for them? Knowing Warren he might have a job lot.......
Best thing though is their ability to set the car up. They did all my adjustments, corner weighting etc. It transformed the handling....

Did you consider Nitrons? Why did you go for Gaz?
Has it lowered for car at all? Speedbumps still OK?!
There's a healthy price saving between Gaz Golds and Nitrons, and although the Nitron performance is supposedly better, I went for Gaz since they were mainly for road use. I have a friend who put Nitrons on his Griff, and they had to be rebuilt more often than I would have been able to put up with - he could stomach it since it was used only for sprinting. I believe the reliability of Nitrons is now much improved, but it's a personal decision. I'd recommend choosing a supplier you trust who can supply a range of options, then talk to them about what would suit you.Has it lowered for car at all? Speedbumps still OK?!
My car is slightly lower now than before, but still clears speed bumps without problems. It used to be markedly higher than any Tuscan I parked it next to, so I think it was just set up badly from the factory!

Hi, I did consider the nitrons but price consideration and my generalcar usage (fast road only really) meant I couldn't really warrant the increased adjustability and I had heard some reliability issues. I think the main thing to take away is that they are not the TVR originals and as such (along with correct set up from Topcats) they make a vast improvement. Do it!
