Was driving along today, accelerating quite briskly when my back window flew out.
I had all the windows shut and the roof on. Obviously the brackets had not been locked in position properly.
I was lucky, as all the cars I was taking over missed the window, but it was scratched quite badly nonetheless.
My warning is just to be aware of this happening.

Just to let you know it hasnt been resolved on the MK11,mine flew out with roof on and drivers window only down 3cm whilst doing about 80.Luckily only a small scuff mark as it landed in a field.Rear brackets now modded with a glued on ridge to stop the window sliding down and out of upper retaining slot.Have seen others with velcro on both surfaces to stop movement.

Some pics of this mod would be good!Kev
Think I'm going to need one. Possibly,(but not definitely) going to sell the car. Really don't want to though.
I'm away back offshore in the morning, but if you want to drop me an email :alanmckay69@yahoo.co.uk we could arrange something.
That would be much appreciated. I use Dreadnought up that way for repair work, so travel is no problem.
Thanks
