Fuel gauge not working

A bit of a strange one this!!

On start up petrol gauge goes through the motions but then goes straight up to max and stays there. The digital display reads 60 ltrs as well. Any ideas??

Sounds like the sender unit in the top of the fuel tank is stuck.

Fuel tank removal was best way for me on Sag
Not sure on tuscan

Sendor is on right of pump as shown and is a pull out board

Have you checked it isn´t one of the tyre inflation cans that´s moved and dislodged the wiring connector on top of the tank? I´ve had to take the sender out of mine a couple of times over the years for this reason. It´s not very robust and can bend meaning the contact doesn´t slide along the coil properly.

Could be this....the problem started after driving around a roundabout a bit too keen
