Fuel gauge not working

Have you checked it isn´t one of the tyre inflation cans that´s moved and dislodged the wiring connector on top of the tank? I´ve had to take the sender out of mine a couple of times over the years for this reason. It´s not very robust and can bend meaning the contact doesn´t slide along the coil properly.

Could be this....the problem started after driving around a roundabout a bit too keen
