I'm looking at wheel options and am now considering Anthracite 18 inch spiders or SP10's.

I'm not sure if it will look right on the car though...does anyone have any pictures of this colour (think its called antique Turquoise)with black wheels?

BTW this isn't my car - stole the picture from another link!

Any opinions? If I do get black wheels is it easy to change the colour to silver later?

Im not sure if they are commonly available, but i was in racing green tvr recently, they had a new colour (one that i hadnt seen anyway), its not silver and not anthracite, its kind of half way but much more chromy/shiny, they looked absolutley awesome, i reckon they would suit your car down to a tee! anyone know the name of the colour??

Can't find many pics of blue ones with those wheels, only this one...

The only colour I've seen (IMHO) that suits anthracite wheels is this one...

Looks really nice, but must say Anthracite must save on cleaning.

They are nice looking.....

"Wheel Spider, rear
Part No TVR G0132 RBC View details
Shadow Chrome 18" Spider alloy refurbished rear wheel

There is a refundable surcharge of £50.00 on this product

£152.75 (including VAT & Surcharge)"

What does the refundable surcharge bit mean?

If I could get a full set of these for £600ish......hmmm.....

Yes there the ones, in the flesh they look fantastic, i believe the surcharge is taking yours in exchange so if yours are mint you get the 50 back though i could be wrong. I was quoted £80 per wheel from racing green, theyd take mine and give me new ones so its a quick process rather than waiting for refurb. Only reason i didnt do it is because my tus is silver and i think the contrast from silver to anthracite works better.

Thought it was too good to be true - doubt they will want my 16 inch spiders.

Will give them a call anyway.

I've just had my wheels powder coated in Anthracite.

My car's not blue but it's given me a chance to post a picture of my new car.

OK this is my baby - excuse the muck its my daily drive at the moment whilst my 'sensible daily car' keep breaking down!!

Very similar colour but my user manual says its Antique Turquoise......

I'm going to give photo shop a go over the weekend....I'm now leaning towards SP12's over Spiders - dunno what colour though.....

Hi da murphster,
I changed my 16" to SP12's last summer (see profile) and had new shocks and the geometry set up at the same time. What a difference, fantastic. thumbup
