What a car! but have questions!
Discussion
Hi all, my 1st post as aTuscan owner! Like the title, what a car, totally blown away with the power delivery, spesh in 2nd and 3rd gear!! @ questions, firstly how do you get the bonnet off!? have undone the 4 bolts at the front but to no avail, what am I missing? secondly, the heater blower, when I turn the blowers on first thing in the morning, it sometimes takes abouit a minute or two for them to start, I can here it blowing, then get a 'pop' and the air flows freely! iIs this normal? I thank you in advance for your information.
Bonnet. There are two catches that you need to push to release the top of the bonnet. These are located under the very top of the bonnet at each side next to the windscreen. Stick your fingers under and you should find them. Press the ends in whilst gently lifting the bonnet and they should release. Undo the 4 nuts and its ready to be lifted off. Its a bit awkward on your own so get another pair of hands to help to avoid any scratches and knocks.
Fan. Sounds normal to me. When you turn the fan on, it has to wait for the flap to move over. When the flap moves to the correct position, the fan works.

The 'pop' you hear might be the 'flaps' sticking in the dash. In the dash area, there are 2 flaps which alow the air to flow into the dash but not back into the heater. They sometimes stick. If you give the dash a gentle 'bash' (or tap) roughly in front of the passenger area, you might hear the flaps open/close.
