Interior colour ideas

I want to change the carpets in my Tuscan. At present I have black leather with grey carpets but want to liven it up a bit. what would look good?
The car is reflex purple but is going to be resprayed reflex green.

Leave the seats black, and put black carpets in with some nice bright green piping. Leave all the interior leather black and add some bright green coloured alcantara inserts to the doors and to the shelf behind the seats. Then have the seat backs painted to match the exterior and you'll completely change the look of the interior without needing to rob a bank.

My Tuscan has a mainly black leather inteior, but has orange stiching to the leather, and orange alcantara inserts to the doors, and the roof lining. Looks fabulous..

Sounds like an interesting combination. This is what she looks like at the moment, definately needs livening up.

maybe some green carpets to go with the reflex green and then get the bottom inserts in the seats trimmed with a green leather, could also consider getting the pod surround done in the same leather as at the moment the all black leather is a tad dark.

If the carpets are in good condition you could try using carpet dye on them, did mine as the carpet was very faded with excellent results and cost a fraction on the price of a retrim.

Thanks guys, green carpets could work, I think I want to keep the leather as is but green carpets and green door inserts and roof linimg with reflex green seat backs could work. My chimaera is magnolia leather and green carpets which I like.
Paul, what dye did you use for your carpets, did you do them in situ or remove them to do the dying?

It made quite a difference and would imagine it would dye light carpets darker.

Having picked up the car post re-carpeting (excellent job by A&R Pound by the way), I have returned home from a few days away to find the car cover partly blown off, and the car absolutely soaked - 2 inches of water in the boot (through light cluster), and the constant rain has found its way into....you guessed it....the brand new, 3-day old wool carpet.

Anyone have any solution for drying this out effectively and avoiding the dreaded damp smells? To say I am not happy is an understatement....

I have reflex green exterior paint with purple leather and purple carpets, with purple door cards etc. It is kind of pueple but everyone loves it as it looks really decadent.
