Differences in TVR Tuscans?
Discussion
You don't have to "sign up" to another forum but anyway.....
Tuscan 4.0 is reference to engine size.
Tuscan 2 is reference to the mark 2 Tuscan (slightly restyled and less scary handling)
As for the general reliability of the Tuscan/ speed 6 engine, just have a read up on the TVR forums, there is even a forum dedicated to the engine. It will provide with all the imformation you need to decide whether a Tuscan is for or not.

Scroll up, click on Gassing Station and then scroll down till you find 'TVR'.
Fairly simple though.
There were two mk of Tuscan. The first was 'sharper' looking and had three recessed lights on the front. The steering was very direct.
Tye MkII had softened lines and the headlights were faired in. Steering less direct and the suspension was tweaked. Interior trim was different too.
All had stright six engines; essentially in two versions - a 3.6 and a 4.0. Being TVR there was a lot of scope for customisation/special versions but this covers the basics.
Take a peek in the classifieds and the difference will be apparent.

So whats the difference in the S and others?
Seems like all the earlier ones are 4.0's
And new ones are 3.6 unless they are an S which is a 4.0.
This right?
Nick
Ya S is top speck, with uprated engine, brakes, and suspension. Unreal performance for slightly more but its well worth it!!Seems like all the earlier ones are 4.0's
And new ones are 3.6 unless they are an S which is a 4.0.
This right?
