Don't know what the weather has been like for everyone else this weekend but it's doing my head in here. It's not been to wet but there has been some snow. Main problem is the wind and the crap that it's blowing over my car. Been having a sand storm here for 2 days straight and my car has sand everywhere. Can't go and wash it as it would make it worse at the moment. Don't have a garage and the "heavy duty", "all weather" cover I had was blown off a fortnight before and is now unuseable.

Does anyone know what the point in wind is or is it just there to annoy me? lol.

On the plus side, I did get to go for a blast in it yesterday despite it being dirty and enjoyed myself a hell of a lot. The fact that my dad heard me arrive home from the back of the house, with the shower on and the radio made me laugh a hell of a lot, lol!

Hey it aint that bad !!! It is worse, we had three inches of snow this morning, just had to take my boy out for a spin. Just spent three hours washing the grimy snow and salt off, gonna get under him tomoz and clean the lot off.

That looks like a Mk2 Grille and S splitters on a Mk1...I agree I think the combination of Mk1 lights and Mk2 grille looks good.

Agreed the mk2 grill and splitters works well with the mk1 lights.

Also, what wheels are on it - I'm looking for alternative wheels for mine.

Hi Rob, Its a T2, I call it Tuscan "Twone", I got bored with the sealed in healdlights that always steam up. I have had it from new order at factory, I love the T2 interior (see pic) and after owning it for 2 & 1/2 years thought do I change for a Sag or mess with it. So I rang Fiberion in the West Midlands (Julian) is a great guy, does what he says he is gonna do and was very reasonable and prompt service, he cut off the old wings and fitted the new ones complete with splitters. I fitted the lights back in and added extra lights, had it sprayed locally at the front only and Lo and Behold, there he is.

Thanks m8, the wheels were from Jason at OZ in Leeds 01132 188777, they were originally fitted on a Supra, we tried diferent ofsets and profiles until these worked and better still they were 2nd hand and un-marked :- Right on the money.

Wings were changed by Julian at Fiberon, West Midlands, a really he;pful guy.

TV05CAN, your car does look stunning. I like the look of the mk1 lights more than than the mk2's. Just my opinion.

As for how dirty my car is, here's a couple of pics. Still can't get out to wash it as there is still a sandstorm. Not amused, lol.

The third pic shows the muck in the light pods. Really is nasty as the car is normally spotless.

Anyhow, when I do get a chance to get it cleaned, i'll post up some pics of it looking it's best.

Hi there,

Just a quick one, the mark 2 grille is that an easy "out with the old and in with the new" scenario or is it quite a big job??

cheers
John
