Draught from vent behind passengers seat

My lady is complaining about a draught around her neck that seems to come from a vent in the wall lining just behind the passengers seat. There seems to be 3/4 inch wide aperature deliberately placed in the lining that doesn't seem to do anything other than let in a major draught.

Another draught flow is coming from the opening in the lining at the bottom of the wall where the seat belt comes out.

Has anyone had a similar problem? I'm tempted to simply fill the gap with some form of wadding but wanted to know if anyone else had any thoughts.

Mrs T also complains of a draught on her arm/neck.

I complain of a draught when she opens her mouth.

Not checked the cause of draught but one solution would be to remove roof then she wouldn't notice draught around the arms.

Here is a photo of the gap that is directly behind the passengers seat. You can see the speaker in the photo.

Doesn't seem large but seems to put out a fair draught.
