Hi,

Noticed that the Tuscan ECU software is in the down section.

Is there a particular USB to serial cable to purchase - as i've heard some may not work?

Cheers, so that gets me from CAR to SERIAL. However, has anybody used a SERIAL to USB convertor with the software. Only asking because I was told the software doesn't work properly(if at all) and you have to get an old laptop with a serial port instead.

As far as I've found, people are using it successfully with a USB adapter... I saw this on an old post, maybe it'll help!

Plugged male serial port from USB into female serial port on ECU board. Pressed black button on steering pod and blipped fob once - software started to work. Started engine and watched numbers going up and down.

So a reasonable success at last.

Just out of interest what can you do once your Tiv is connected to your laptop? Can you adjust anything useful?

I have no idea what it does but I just feel like I should buy one.....
