Info to keep in the car

Having had my oil issue yesterday, it got me to thinking what information I should keep in the car that may help such as error codes etc. My car is a MK22 Targa.

Do all of you experienced Phers have any suggestions and also where to find the info. I can happily collate this and put a full listing back on the forum so please either add to this or email me on the members list.
