Battery Discharged Fast any ideas?

Hey all, my battery discharged overnight probably about 18 hours in total, it was absolutely fine prior to that and I was using it daily, I'm aware they normally only last 2-3 weeks unused before going flat so i regularly put it on the optimate when left alone for more than a few days - the battery is just over a year old so i don't expect it is 'kapute' just yet, although a replacement will be my last resort.

I did not leave the boot open or lights on, anybody ever had a quick discharge before? and get to the bottom of it?

hi, i had a similar problem a couple of years ago, it got worse and ended with me getting very wet in bedford town centre and spending all night getting home on a recovery truck in a thunderstorm!! it was later discovered the battery had a dead cell. not sure if this any help to you but it may be worth getting someone to check the battery, i got a new one and its been fine since.
