Hi all,

Never done it, but am really intrigued to see under my bonnet and what condition its in, can someone please send me some pics of where I need to open it undo bolts etc!

I took mine off for the first time yesterday. Not much fun, I can tell you that! Especially doing it yourself - if you are gonna do it alone, be very careful lifting the panel out and putting it back in.

To be honest, unless you're gonna be doing something once you get it off, it's not all that exciting!

No worries!

I was actually surprised how dirty it was in there. Dunno how some people keep theirs so clean!

Do you have the Tuscan toolkit? It has a useful adapter that you can use to help remove the bolts.

No I havent got the toolkit, is it neccessary? or can i get by with standard tools?

You can get by with a normal socket set, with a short extension for the front bolts (under the service bonnet). It really is best to get help, especially putting the cover back on, as it would be easy to scratch something doing it yourself.

Getting it lined up going back on is a right bugger too!
