Boot solanoid given up the ghost
Discussion
Have a mark 1 Tuscan with lazy boot solanoid. Problem became gradually worse & increasingly emabarrassing at petrol stations. Track v Road fitted me a new underneath button 2 months ago in same place as Sagaris boot. This button now completely given up, no whining power noise to it whatsoever. Have about 14 litres fuel remaining. Would be grateful if someone could PM me the secret way - all I can see are black wires hung down & don't know which is which. Well known in South Yorks region (please check profile) so not trying to gain info. leading to unlawful entry.
Many thanks

Indeed.
The fellas at Track v Road disabled the boot badge and located a button (same type as door entry) on the flat horizontal ledge just above the number plate. This was intended to bypass & take all the play out of the boot badge. The mod cost approx 30 quid fully fitted & in principle is quite a good idea.
