203 mph, Is That Possible?
Discussion
Hi All
After reading a post on here yesterday about finding out the maximum figures that the car has produced in its past (i.e press fog light button for two seconds and then push the menu scroll nob on the right hand side, etc) looked at mine this morning and the maximum speed recorded was 203mph! is that right? i know these beasts are extremely fast but over 200mph? has anyone else had a look at their own figures, interested to know what you all come up with.
Or could it just be an error of some kind.

I guess it's possible in a vacuum whilst going downhill.
I've seen the same figure on my car & believe that it's just the maximum that the electronics are capable of understanding. In my case, I had a faulty transducer that caused the speedo needle to bob up & down, and when it went all the way up must have maxed itself out.

Mine did something similar - the speedo would climb up normally, but then not come down again when you decclerated. When accelerating again, it would climb from its previous high point.
Mine did the same, made for a very impressive photo with the needle sitting at 190.Message Board | Tuscan | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
