I have just put this plate on retention today with the aim to sell it in the new year releasing some cash but it seems that number plate prices are all over the place i mean one in the classifieds is £6,5k... eek I just want to be realistic really confused

Any help is greatly appreciated... smile

You've got a very limited market and a plate that requires some manipulation to read properly! IMHO you'd be lucky to see £500...

I dont think it really needs much manipulation at all to read but thats personal opinion. I dont think any other plate will read Tuscan as well as this one.

Will defo be worth more than that £500 im sure.

Well thanks for the advice everyone. Much appreciated as per usual smile

Im not so sure... I agree with zippee... although my estimate was around £700 tops.

It doesnt actually read Tuscan.

Personally I wouldn't change the 8 to look like a U as the Bib love to nick a car for that. I remember when my previous car plate got me a ticket twice in one week and that was for not having correct spacing. Tampering with a number AND incorrect spacing is asking for trouble IMHO.

The reg plate worth most to a Tuscan imho is the plate that reads S6 TVR... i bet someone on here has it! wink

Next best, I've got SP06 TVR....S6 TVR was a TVR factory plate and appears on some publicity shots on Black Mk1, I understand it has been recently purchased..TVR Power ??? possibly unless it's you mossy (just noticed the smiley wink).
I've been waiting for TU55CAN, but the DVLA seem to be holding on to it.

T115CAN was in demand when Tuscans first come out, belive it was on Ford van of some description.

As for the OP's plate it's what someone is prepared to pay.

The problem is you need to make the plate illegel to read something near to Tuscan...which could mean a 'pull' everytimne you go out. And if you don't change the plate and keep using it regardless of fines etc eventually you loose the plate. This all effects its price and alot of people are wise to this thing now...only my 2p though.

£255 from the DVLA last month... seemed like a fair price as some of the TVR number seem a little optomistic
