Stolen Tuscan fitted car cover
Discussion
Folks
A forlorn post I know, but if anyone in London/SE England gets offered a specialised (http://www.carcoversuk.com/) fitted Tuscan car cover on the cheap, dark blue and used, then it may well be mine! Some scumbags came by and stole it off the car itself last night (parked on a public street outside houses) - which just goes to show their stupidity given it won't fit on any other car. Will also keep an eye out on e-bay.

Bugger. I know the feeling. A few years ago a similar thing happened to the fitted customer cover I used for my old Cerbera. Daft funts who stole it obviously realised it wasnt going to be much use and dumped it a few streets away. I managed to recover it thanks to a neighbour spotting it in some bushes. May be worth a look round the local area?A forlorn post I know, but if anyone in London/SE England gets offered a specialised (http://www.carcoversuk.com/) fitted Tuscan car cover on the cheap, dark blue and used, then it may well be mine! Will keep an eye out on the usual sites.

Thanks Michael - I walked the streets this morning but no joy. Idiots didn't even take all of the securing straps and left one on the road so this increasingly of the view this was a sudden decision by some cretins. Reported to police for what it is worth but not going to see that cover again...
Does anyone have the coverzone stormforce cover with alarm fitted? This appears a well rated cover, but I wonder whether the alarm is worth the extra £25. In current circumstances, I am of the view it is

I have the Stormforce cover for the Tam, well put together and not too expensive, about £125 IIRC. Don't know about the alarm thing but it might stop the cover beig nicked again.Does anyone have the coverzone stormforce cover with alarm fitted? Shep
MB. I have a stormforce cover after having a Halfords one for a year. The fit is great and nice and tight front and back. Bone dry over the past months. The alarm has only gone off once or twice but as the cover does not billow with the wind there is little movement to trigger the sensors.
Thanks chaps. Spoke to stormforce folks today and whilst the cover/alarm option is excellent, there is no ability to include a parking permit window/cut the material to include one which for London is a must. They did say that a laminated sheet with a copy of the permit inside would work, but I don't trust my Borough parking wardens at all.
Still fuming about the theft - what kind of cretin steals a cover which they can't use?
