my back windows is squeeky

i know i have to use velcro but do i put it on the inside or the outside of the window?

On the outside top edge, you need some about 10mm wide. Some also add a strip at the bottom of the screen to prevent rubbing on the boot lid, but the better fix here is to use the alloy screen clips by Raceproved.

I just apply vaseline to the rear screen seal. Works for me.

I use both velcro & vaseline, the vaseline will help keep the rubber seal supple.

Vaseline will eventually damage the seal, best to use a silicon spray also less messy.

Silicone is the answer, Vaseline might damage the rubber but probably in about 700 years of constant use, so either really.
