Well after 10 years the old original stereo has eaten my CD (a recored one) and is playing up. Fancy getting a new one with an ipod connection, anyone recommend a good one? Also how do you remove the center console that holds the stereo?

Another weekend playing with the tuscan, it's a hard life! smile Mr C

I just had an Alpine CDE-100 series fitted by Halfords.
Not sure which model it was . Think it was the 103 but I'm away at the moment.
Its got a USB connection on the front and a seperate lead coming out to plug your I-pod or I-phone into and also a microphone for bluetooth hands free.
The young guy at Halfords did a good job very quickly and charged 10 quid.
I gave him 5 quid tip which he tried to refuse.

Only thing is mine is a Mk2 so I think its a bit easier than yours.

You don't need to remove the console radio just slides out with the removal tools.
