Grateful for any help... windscreen washers have stopped working. Have made sure plenty of washer fluid in the reservoir and the fuse is OK. Wipers are working OK as normal but no washers.
Do not hear any noise from the washer pump when I press the washer switch.

Any suggestions as to what could be the cause.

Thanks.

Check the connection to the pump on the washer bottle, then rule out a duff fuse, then check the pump (you can test it with a 9v battery). If the pump has failed, it's a simple, inexpensive part to replace (unless the washer bottle on a tuscan is in a really weird place!).

My had failed when i bought the car, its an off the shelf universal one from Halfords. Cost <£10.

Check the fuse first thenremove the bottle. Its behind and under the passenger side light access panel, it just lifts up and out with some fidling. Getting it back in is another story....

Resurrection of an old thread - can anyone point me in the direction of the washer bottle fuse please? I know where the fuses are, just need to know which one - I also have a copy of the fuse layout but can't see which one it is. Thanks!

Another shout for anyone that might have missed it. Is there a specific fuse for the washer bottle or does anyone know which ancillary it should run from please?

In Phil Tudhope's Handbook it says that wipers and washers are on fuse 24 and rated at 20A.
Don't think that helps does it??

Thanks Cats, it might and it might not. The wipers work fine so assuming they are on the same fuse, it's either a loose connection or a burnt out motor. Guess it's a bonnet off job again! Have to wait until it stops raining which could be .........?

I guess rain means you don't need the washers - always look on the bright side

Make sure the washer tube has not been trapped behind your airbox. Pop the top of the airbox to check.
