Sorry for my english it's very simple but i will do the best i can. I want to buy a TVR Tuscan, 2000-2004 model but in Spain TVR doesn't exist, there are ten TVR in Spain only(maybe).

I need know all about the Tuscan this type of model that is i want :

The main problems you will have will be that no where in Spain will be able to service it, so it will mean a trip to the UK, also I think getting a COC and getting it registered there will be very difficult, their not the cheapest cars to run either.

Hello and welcome!
There´s a lot of information on these pages and almost any information you´ll ever need you´ll find!
The TVR is a car with a technique like most other cars - only the electric is sometimes tricky.
You not need a COC - but contact at first your office!
One point left: you wont be able to use it like a daily car because the spares you´ll have to order from UK and this takes a long time.
There are some really good manuals on the market which provides all the needed data for a successful repair - from you or an good mechanic.
It took about 2 years until I made the decission to buy one of these crazy cars - and I love to drive in it!
3 other points:
- the Tuscan got a large turn radius (not the best city car!)
- it got really low ground clearance (may be a problem in Spain????)
- the visibility is not comparable with an "normal" car. It depence on your body size
(bigger is better as always in life ;-))

I never thought that a TVR Tuscan can be one of my cars, but i was in London and i see some Tuscan and it's a very nice and interesting car. My priority it's a Lotus Exige but a TVR in Spain it's very exclusive car but i didn't know nothing about this car. Thanks for the webs i'm gonna to check the webs and i will try to solucionate the problems about having this car in Spain, it's very probable that the car is no legal in Spain, and another problem its the parts of the engines.

If i have more questions i spend that you can answer me like now.

Hi Comandantu,

Safety equipment = seat belt and brakes.
Non of those other heavy accesories like ABS or traction control or air bags.

As far as the engines, post 2004 engines are much better and so are the rebuilt engines.
Most of the original engine problems were removed at this time along with the fact that the various rebuild experts introduced a number of improvements.

I was in Madrid last summer in my Tuscan. Going to Spain again in June / July this year but unfortunately not via Madrid. I could meet with you for a chat but it would need to be in the Denia, Alicante area.
When I say a chat I only speak English or German but I'm sure it wouldnt be a problem.
