Drove my T2S again last weekend and that confirmed my previous feeling: the exhaust is too quiet AND too loud: too quiet for the twisties and too loud for the motorway (long stretches, > 90 mph). Anyone else have the same experience? What could I do about it? Any adjustable exhaust systems available like e.g. a DB9?

This isnt going to help but...

My Wife was constantly complaining that my T2 was too quiet.
Didnt compare well to my T1, didnt sound like a TVR should etc.

Tried sleeving, still too quiet she said.
Decat (at Wifes expense) ........... perfect.

Run up to IKEA on M6 ........... "its a bit loud isnt it"

You cant win. Now wish I hadnt sleeved, only decatted.

What setup do you have? Cats? Decats? Standard Cans? straight through cans? semi sleeved cans?

Just had a chat with these guys:
http://www.jekillandhyde.eu/site/

Currently, they only do variable bike exhaust system, but at the mo they are testing a variable silencer for cars; this replaces the main silencer and is variable from very quiet to very loud (85-130 dB). This sounds perfect! Now hope they will indeed launch this product.
