Unbolted my PAS unit bracket to re-paint it... to the sound of tinkle.tinkle.. etc as I then found out it was held in place by an exhaust U-bolt on a chassis member with 10 (yes 10) washers to space it...Repainted now and a bit of a mod to stop it cutting into the chassis member and with the 2nd set of nuts..hopefully next time I undo it, it will not fall to pieces in the bottom of the engine bay. biggrin

What color and type of paint did you use? , dose it match the original color?
I had one blasted and plastic coated with some wish bones and a lot of cerby parts etc in ni-on identical color as a friends engineering co uses the color for a lot of there NHS products, coincidence? I know, not.
If any one want`s i can get.(even in anti bacterial food quality)

This time Grey smooth Hammerite mixed with a bit of white to match, otherwise I use White with a bit of Black.Use the same for chassis.

I think RAL7035 is the closest pantone.

I now have the exact recipe for the chassis colour in powder & aerosol form, not cheap but great match
