First TVR advice
Discussion
Hello everyone I am asking for some advice and help. I have just bought myself a mk1 tuscan! Its my first TVR and has the most important bits done Ie engine rebuild, new clutch, radiators, slave, exhaust etc etc.
Im a bit lost as in to where I can find the smaller parts and upgrades for it from. Im just looking for some gold centre caps for the spiders at the momonet, a HID upgrade kit, and any reputable company where i can get a nice new carpet fitted from.
My previous two cars were both porsches and a BMW before that so finding companies and parts for my new beast seems to confuse me a bit :-/ If anyone could get back to me and let me know id be most gratefull,
Thanks

I fitted HIDs to my Tuscan I ordered a H7 6000k kit of ebay for a £1 with £35 postage from China arrived within the week. EXACTLY the same as kits being sold in the UK for £80,£90,£100+ etc. Makes a big difference to the lights I now have bright white lights not yellow dull ones, really modernises the front of my Cerbera. Easy to fit and if you get stuck just shout on here.
Congratulations on the Tuscan I had mine for 18 months and loved it and not a bit of trouble with it. REMEMBER please, please warm it up before giving it the full BHoona...

Ah thanks alot for the centre caps mate thats very kind of you, ..you dont happen to know where I can pick up another two from do ya lol! I was thinking of going with the black ones too but my tuscans crystal topaz and think the gold wil make a nice touch to the silvery colour...just so hard to bloudy find!
Yuve got a cerbera now...there awsome I saw a couple of them too but I went for the tuscan in the end. Maybe il get the Cerb next, they were so violantly fast :-)
Il definantly check those HIDS out, yeah youre rite they give the car a real classy modern look compared to the standard. Il check that kit out, hopefuly i can get them for a quid too. Were they a pain to fit or was it quite a simple job?
Trust me I know how important warm up procedures sre on these motors ive been wel advised by all the tuscan owners i visited recently on the hunt looking for one. I stayed away from the ones that didnt have the all important re-build done.
Thanks for all the help and advice, just one more thing though do you know where I could get the carpets and seals changed and fitted from. Carpets looking a bitt shaby plus im not realy fond of the baby blue colour, and the window/door seals are starting to come away. If you know anyone then that would be great.
Cheers!!

Congratulations and welcome
This is where I got my door trim from, you want 8 metres of the 266-BLK. http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/c-37-side-seals.aspx
As for carpets, I had mine done at Martrim in Middlewich, Cheshire for £600. There is A&R Pound in Baldock and D&C trim in Blackpool who come recommended.
